  • Australian Clinical Labs Pathology

    Central General Practice is a registered collection centre for Australian Clinical Labs Pathology (previously Healthscope). Services include blood testing, ECG’s and glucose tolerance testing.

    Collection hours are:

    Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 1pm, 1:30pm – 3:00pm

    (Bookings are required for glucose tolerance testing. Please contact reception to arrange this.)

    Please note that a referral is required from your GP. Bring this request slip, along with you current Medicare card. If you wear glasses, please bring these as you will need to check and confirm your personal details.

    Opened late In 2010, the East Wing was built in partnership with Melbourne University, with the aim of increasing the range of health services offered by the practice and promoting good health.

    We are now offering video consultations with a range of Specialists, where appropriate, to help alleviate travel time and costs for patients. Ask our reception staff or your Doctor for further information.

  • Personally Controlled Electronic Health Records

    Patients who register for this will gain access to a summary of their health information. Doctors and other health care professionals involved in your care can also gain access to your summary health information, subject to your access controls, providing consistent and safe care.
