Our PracticeMansfield Central General Practice

It is our aim to  provide the Mansfield and district community with the best, most caring, confidential and professional attention to individuals, their families and the wider community. In accordance with this, regardless of race, religion or creed, no one will be turned away when in need of medical attention.

We are an AGPAL Accredited General Practice and our standards are set by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. The practice is accredited with both Bogong Regional Training Network and the University of Melbourne to train both registrars and medical students in general practice.

You can find us approximately 100m from the CBD and opposite the Mansfield Shire Offices in Highett Street. During the Snow season our doctors participate in administering the medical services at the Mt Buller Medical Centre. We also run outlying clinics at Jamieson, Bonnie Doon and Timbertop (Geelong Grammar School).

For appointments at Highett Street or Jamieson please telephone 5775 2591 between 9am and 5pm weekdays. At this time appointments cannot be made via our web page.

Please note that there are no Saturday morning clinics.

Our standard consultation time is 15 minutes.

Please tell us if you require a longer time or have a special purpose eg. insurance medical, counselling, removal of skin lumps or moles, etc.

*Please note that emergencies and urgent cases may take priority over our appointment bookings.  You are welcome to ring the surgery before your appointment to check that we are running on time.

Home Visits:   These are available where appropriate on request.

Cancellations: Maximum notice of cancellation helps us to help someone else. Repeated failure to attend appointments will result in a cancellation fee.
